On The Levels

Kate & Sophie left after breakfast so Tess, Chris & I took an extended bike ride around the local peat moors where old peat diggings have been flooded to provide a habitat for the local wildlife (and for rape flower like this to self seed and grow wild).

Chris's phone assured us we had done nearly eleven miles. We're very lucky to still be able to run with our daughter and granddaughter one day and go cycling with our son the next.

Anyway, after all that exertion, we had a very lazy afternoon, enjoying the sun in the garden.
