A View From Our Lodge

Once again we enjoyed early morning and late afternoon safaris on the reserve and there are more animal shots, including two more of the Big Five, the buffalo and rhino in extras. We literally turned a bend on the track to be confronted by these last tow, extremely big, animals

In between, we had time to relax , by this watering hole which is right in front of our lodge, watching a crocodile on the bank, a hippo keeping a wary eye on us from the water and a kingfisher plying his trade above it.

This is the night time view of the watering hole taken from our verandah after our evening meal. I just missed the zebra that had come to drink on the bank at the right.
