Mercy mission

We drove to our son's home to take him and his wife out to lunch. They are replacing their kitchen and have no appliances, not even a sink! They are beginning to tire of microwave meals and doing the washing up in the bathroom so we had lunch in a local pub. It was very busy, and service was very slow, but it gave us a chance to have a good chat.
Back in their garden a magnificent cherry tree cast shade on a very hot day.
