Tulips

I have never heard the birds sing as loudly as they have for most of the day. It sounded as though they were almost in the room with us. I think the main chorister was a blackbird, but there were twittery birds joining in.
It was another beautiful morning so I got out in the garden as soon as I could. Weeding again, and they have gone crazy since it got warmer. I wonder whether I can ever keep up. The tulips don't seem to mind the weeds however and I have put a different variety for my extra.
