The lock on the candy store

What a week....

Since I last Blipped we have covered 620 miles (at least) from home in Troon, on the West Coast, up through Loch Lomond, On to Glen Coe, Into Fort William, up to Spean Bridge, Up Glen Nevis, over to Mallaig, ferry to Armadale on Isle of Skye.  Drove right round Skye - Fairy Pools, and Old Man of Storr, across the bridge at Kyle of Lochalch, Stopping off at Eilan Donan, Castle Urquhart, and into Inverness.  Through Aviemore, and onto Dunfermline from Dunfermline to the Royal Mile in Edinburgh and for him and me - Back to Troon.

We've had some terrible sad news during the week, and that meant that for a day spontaneous tears were included, but lots of love, and hugs, and plenty of memories to make us laugh and forget the tears for a moment.

I will back post all of my entries - I'm just trying to accumulate all of the photos from all over the place - and find the very best ones.  Highlight of the week has been visiting these places with someone who has never, ever been in Scotland before and seeing it all with her excited eyes - and of course, spending days and nights with my Boys.  Both of them.

Tooli of course - continues to entertain us with her messages from down under.... tubing through caves full of glow worms, and walking to the top of a hill  - to see a green lake.  I await the Sky Diving photos with interest.

For today - my very, first, ever Asparagus tip.  How amazing eh?

It was through on Saturday but not quite big enough, but now- Look at that.   isn't amazing.   And it tasted immense.   Hoping for more tomorrow.
