Shakedown

The little pink arrow at the top of the screenshot is the Ards Man returning to the marina after his ‘shakedown’ cruise. The weather this year hasn’t been conducive to sailing, either being too windy or no breeze at all (mostly the former), so this is the first time that he has been out in the boat this year.

He took the boat out himself as I went to church this morning, where we had a great Easter service. I like having the Marine Traffic app, as I can keep an eye on the sailor to make sure all’s well! I’m heading over to the boat soon, though, with a picnic for later on.

It’s such a lovely day we definitely have to make the most of it! Happy Easter!
