Not an Owl Blip

I went to Twin Lakes Nature Area with Becky and Darrin this afternoon.  We had already walked with Piper in the morning so I only took my camera.  I was hoping to be blipping a Great Horned Owl but they were no where to be seen and their nest didn't look "lived in".  Darrin saw them there last week so I wonder if they've found a different hollow tree to nest in.  I was disappointed but I think I'll try back during the week when it's more quiet and I won't have to hurry to keep up with anyone.  Not only were the owls absent but there really weren't any other birds around either.  I heard some chickadees and I saw doves and grackles.  So today's blip is a landscape sans birds.  It was a nice warm day and green is starting to show on the trees so that made me happy. :-)

I am grateful for a pleasant walk on a nice day with my sweet daughter and her family.
