Meltdown.

As the temperature climbed to the mid twenties this afternoon, the poor starlings who are nesting in the top of our hedge, had to pop out for a breath of fresh air.
At first glance it looks like he's singing but he's actually gaping to cool down.
My parrots will do the same thing if they overheat.
