Clippings
The day starts with the chipper. The rosehip and holly clippings are stubborn, refusing to slide silently into the machine maw. I decide that consumption by flame is the lesser sin.
The day gets hotter and hotter. I tinker with the water supply - fixing a leak and taking a look at the pump. I have a feeling we could need it before the summer is over.
Boron drops by in his way home from Penicuik. We load the chipper. He takes a look at trailer and tractor. We drink beer in the sun.
And then, after dark, I transcribe all the errors I found in the audio book. The producer requires time stamps, understandably - which means I have to find each error again.
