2019 Thursday — At the College Tonight

Tonight is the BIG event at the college where I teach. Am I attending? No! At $100.00 a ticket. The tickets are out of my price range. Ticket prices were discounted for faculty to $70.00 each. Still out of my range. But for the past two days I have been watching the amphitheater just outside my office door transformed into an “event.”

This is the second year this event has happened. Last year it was not at the college, but a local restaurant with banquet table.
