Cecilia

Cece is my great-niece. What a lovely girl she is too. It was the AGM of the Friends of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Cece was there to dispense drinks and nibbles at the party after the main business. It was great to catch up on what she is up to in her career in the fashion industry. She was a Blipper once, too (Cecerose) but has now moved on to Instagram, which I don't quite get how it works.

Anyway, we were entertained at the meeting by presentations from the managers of the parks and officer Steve who manages to keep everything calm with his policing psychology. (See extra, and Yes, I know. Madam Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea does look a bit glum. But she is a stalwart who regularly comes along to the Friends' meetings).

Well done all involved. If you go into the parks you will know what wonderful condition they are maintained in, despite the pressures from all sides. The latest being the Climate Change demonstrators who have been camping there overnight.
