We Salute You

A fascinating tour of the Royal Hospital Chelsea. The home of the Chelsea Pensioners. What splendid men (and women, now). I had never been in before and there is a good coffee shop. Worth remembering. We all know what they look like in their smart scarlet uniform (see extra). But I rather like the one of our guide standing at the door into the cloister.

Then on to the Photo Society where we had a really good presentation on wildlife photography. I particularly enjoyed the way that Ian Green had integrated pictures of wildlife with the London city skyline. And he has done a lot of good work with primary school children. Excellent stuff.
