WHITE HERON (KOTUKU) Egretta Alba

This is Harry.  He comes to Christchurch same time every year.  I have several years pictures of him having arrived between 14 and 28 April.
I know the dates as I have been going out around the same area (daily) for the last 7 years.  He is distinct in that he is said to have a plastic ring around his neck. I dont think its plastic but he does have a distinctive feather separation at the bottom of his neck feathers - only showing in some positions.  Any if he has or hasnt he is still doing well and he looks as healthy as ever.
