Billowing

The blackthorn blossom billows out of the hedgerows that surround the village and the fresh green leaves of the oak trees are gradually emerging.  As we walked with Merlin this morning, surrounded by all this, somewhere out of sight in the blue sky high above us, the sky larks were singing. It felt idyllic and as if all living things were full of the joy of spring.

And so today we have been dog walking and buying new plants for the front garden - which Andy spent most of the morning working on.  We are really pleased with how it is looking.  Now Andy is resting watching the final round of the Masters whilst we cook dinner.  I am trying to rest but I am not very good at it!
