Shard close up

So after a very pleasant walk along the South Bank and through Borough Market, we ended up at the Shard. Seen it many times from the distance but quite an experience being beneath it.

Spent 10 minutes queueing for coffee at Monmouth, only to find they don’t do plant-based milks. Annoying and the first time that’s happened. Their loss is our gain as ended up having a wonderful hot chocolate (vegan) at Rabot 1745 a few doors away.

Love being a tourist in London, despite living here most of my life!
