One of the amazing....

Crossbills that were flying really low today. It was hot and sunny but there was a strong, icy wind blowing and I think that bought them down.
There is usually a flock in this woodland and  more today than I have seen for a while.
Also saw first Swallows and, yesterday the first House Martins!
