Ecstasy!

Could have chosen lots of different pics today but just felt this Chaffinch in the sun singing was uplifting, for me anyway!
Hard overnight frost and lots of fresh snow on the tops made for a chilly day, back in trousers! Soon warmed up tramping through the woods. Heard a scrabbling in the Pines and watched three squirrels racing around. Down at the river, saw the Dipper and Grey Wagtails. Delighted to find a Cuckoo Flower out, that is early. Painted it later in the day.
Had a blether with friends across their fence, which was very nice!
