Sao Miguel

Weather has been awful. We were the last plane not to be diverted yesterday and our plans for today were totally changed.

We couldn’t sail for Santa Maria and couldn’t leave the harbour. So - we had a fabulous day on Sao Miguel, the largest of the Azores.

Dense fog and solid drizzle meant we saw nothing on the hike, but it was still fabulous.

My blip is of the thermal lake at Terra Nova (I swam in it last time).
