Open tulip

I blipped this a few days ago when it was closed. Now it has opened up and revealed its lovely chocolate brown markings and the trifid stigma. (I think I'm going to have to learn botanical naming of parts properly.) There are more orange tulips on the way now, to back up the solitary vanguard I blipped recently.

The extra shows a bumblebee that was stumbling around in the grass on the lawn. It seemed very sluggish, although it doesn't seem to be too cold for them to fly at the moment.
