Medicinal Abstract

A very busy day with several medical appointments to attend by both Mother and myself - well that is what we thought!

Mothers appointment for an injection into the eye not until late morning but I had to be at the respiratory lab by 9.15 am for some tests before seeing the registrar at 10.15 am.

Left Mother to do a bit of shopping arranging to meet, after our appointments, for a coffee at the hospital coffee bar aptly named The Dispensary.

As it happened I had the tests and saw the registrar all before my appointed time so meandered down to the cafe thinking to have a quiet sup whilst waiting for Mother.

Great minds think alike - so I'm told! - and there was Mother thinking to have a coffee too. We hung about and then wandered up to the Eye Clinic only to be inform - rather brusquely I might add - that they had been trying to call us all morning because the Doctor had called in sick and all appointments were postponed.

So home we went feeling exhausted when really we hadn't done much at all...

Whist whiling the time away I noticed a couple of waffled windows and the abstracts they were producing and could not resist making the most of the vision.
