Farmer and Miller.

This is Mr Tbay standing in the entrance to Frettenham Mill which was built by his 2X great grandfather Joshua Harper in the 1880. This was one of the last windmills to to built in this area. He was a Miller and Farmer just like his descendant was as Mr Tbay was an Animal Feed Merchant and Farmer!

We had always wanted to see this mill and were delighted to see that much of the site was really quite unchanged although the mill pond was long gone.

Prior to our mill visit we had a trip on the Bure Valley narrow gauge railway from Aylsham to Wroxham where we then caught a boat for a quite trip of the broads which was excellent. A brilliant day weather wise as we had lovely sunshine for it all!
