Gagnam Style

The children did a Robotic Dance Workshop. The school did cobble together some reason why this was a learning opportunity, can't remember exactly that was now. Al did learn something though - that a Robotic Dance Workshop is a really, really good fun thing to do! To say he was unwilling is an understatement, but I hadn't read the letter properly and told him it was compulsory, which it wasn't.

But you know, if you didn't do things you didn't want to when you're at school you might not do a lot, so I said he just had to get on with it. And all of them absolutely loved every moment!

At the end the teacher (ex-Hot Gossip dancer who looks younger than me despite me remembering watching him on TV when I was at school), shouted, 'Gangnam Style!' and the children all went crazy. The music was blaring and it was quite a something to hear 90 nine year olds screaming, 'Ooooh, sexy lady!' at full volume, doing the only two moves they know. Priceless.

Went to a jewellery party this morning at Emma's house. Bought some earrings and a necklace which I don't need at all but totally love!
