After a morning catching up with kitchen cleaning and paperwork we had the leftovers from the past few days for lunch. 

Then thought we would drive to Bowness and try to park on the Glebe. Not a chance ........ we could see it was busy by the queues for the boats. So, up to Windermere, parked and decided on a walk around Orrest Head. About half a mile into the walk the conversation went like this ........

OH:  I don't think I locked the car

ME:  You probably did. It's something you do automatically

 10 minutes later .......

OH: I'm sure I didn't lock the car

ME:  No one would go around trying door handles and there's nothing in it worth stealing. Let's carry on.

A bit further on ........

OH:  I think we should go back and check. We could have coffee at Booths instead. 

So, back we went and the car was unlocked. He then forgot about the coffee. So did I.
