Feeding lambs

Ummm - this picture wasn't from today -it's from yesterday, but Iove it and wanted to use it. 

Not that we've had a quiet day - anything but.  I started off with a morning run, which has done me the world of good.  I can never understand how something that makes you feel so good, can be so hard to do (at 6am - that might be the reason...) 

The youngest had a 'taster' session at his new nursery.  He likes it.  He walked straight in, took off his shoes and went off to play.  The eldest is pretty taken with the place as well (as am I). Whilst the youngest was checking out his new friends and nursery, I took the eldest shopping - we had a great time, plenty of new clothes for him, and some lovely time spent just the two of us. 

Back home, I nearly forgot to take the eldest for his injections - remembered just in time to get us all down there without being too stressed.  He was very, very good.  All smiles at the nurses, until the first needle went in, followed by a second and lots of tears.  He recovered pretty well - and within minutes was telling me how brave he was. 

Home again, weeded the front garden. 

Dinner on for the husband (he's on bathtime / story time duty).  I think I'm going to sleep well this evening.
