On the farm

We've been visiting our farm friends today - I came home with both boys fast, fast asleep, totally exhausted from their day. 

We started off with riding 'Sparky'.  Last time the youngest didn't want to ride, today he loved it, especially trotting.   The eldest is getting better at riding and absolutely loves it.  After the riding, the boys played on the tractors for a while (great thing about this is it gives my friend and I time to talk, as the boys and her little girl are so busy playing).  Then it was time to go and feed 'the orphan lambs - which was an absolute hit.  Bit of lunch, playing before heading out in the land rover to go and check out the rest of the lambs and calves around the farm.  

Rest of day kind of pales into insignificance after such a good morning.
