Old But Not Derelict

Beautiful weather.. Met up with with another photographer and off to the Funkturm .( see main blip ) A strange angle but I liked it .Built 1924-1926 it has survived a lot and is very well maintained -Next, coffee and on to the Grünewald Turm .See extra .A memorial to Kaiser Wilhelm l ,opened to the public in 1899 ,it's beautiful and at night, floodlit . Have added a link in English  should any be interested  Like the Queen Consort of Romania I climbed the steps to the top , in a better time .She died the following day. What a thought !.

There  was a laugh at the Grünewald Turm  when we and a couple were locked in . The young man had not checked . No climbing gates etc as he was found and apologised .Never a dull moment .
