After faffing and a slow start it was too nice not to be outdoors so I went up Mell Fell (extra). The ponies were there again. As I was up there my friend rang to say they were planning to swim so I headed down to join them. The lake was looking glorious and there was a bit of warmth in the sun...none to be had in the lake.
