Orchids

Orchids are funny. When I was a kid, my dad fell in love with orchids and set up a very elaborate indoor green house to grow them because they were very difficult to keep.
Nowadays we just pick them up for a fiver in the supermarket, stick them in the window and they're off and running. I transplanted three or four into one big central tub and now there's always something flowering in it. They're all coming out for the spring and the lighter days.
