Anglers Crag

Mr P was off to Ennerdale to bag another 3 Wainwrights.  He's determined to do them all by the end of May, ie one year from us getting up here. I went too because I could see there was some nice flat walking on the west side of the lake for me to practice with my poles. A geocache on Anglers Crag - the dark lump just below the branch,    however  lured me off the flat up to 247m where the view was spectacular but into the sun.  The crag  used to be opposite the Anglers Hotel but that has long since been pulled down with only a memorial seat to mark the spot,  just along from where this was taken.  A total walk of 6km with 250km of climb -  my most adventurous NH ( new hip) walk yet. And it was a glorious day- T shirt weather.
