Bendy trees

In Ovronnaz today, these trees seemed to bend to show us the way down. Fabulous skiing in between the trees today after yesterday’s snow. The extra shows the way ahead.

We were really surprised at 8 am this morning to find that the Rhône valley was full of water sprinklers working flat out spraying the fruit trees. We found out later that it was to protect the trees that were in blossom from last night’s hard frost. It certainly worked because nothing was frozen and each orchard was filled with puddles of water. It was an incredible sight to see as they were all on at the same time and the sun was just catching them. You learn something new every day!
