A strange one

Definitely one of those unique days today: all free time disappeared for a variety of reasons; parent meetings were positive, including the one in the car park and the one with tears; and lunchtime was extended somewhat by  an injury and the arrival of an ambulance. There was talk of the air ambulance at one point but it didn't materialise and the injured one was a lot better this evening and potentially back in tomorrow. And then there was some freak weather at the very end of the day. A hailstorm and a drop of about 5 degrees on the way home. Bailey has been discouraged from his walk this evening and had to do with the garden and I am just about warming up after nearly two hours out on the field. I'm hoping for a more straightforward Thursday.
