Happy Socks

A trip to bluewater this afternoon with granddaughter Ella. I was impressed by the imaginative and colourful displays in some of the small open fronted stores.

This shop caught my eye. It is Happy Socks that stock colourful socks and underwear designed in Sweden. In 2008 two Swedes had a vision to spread happiness by turning an everyday essential into a colourful design piece. They were obviously very successful with their concept as Happy Socks can be found in 90 different countries.

Ian had Happy Socks as a gift from my daughter, and on Mothers Day she sent me box of bamboo socks. All very bright and colourful. Once upon a time socks were a boring gift - no more.
