Lambing time in Mull

Our crofting friends were at a funeral today so friend D and I were asked to keep an eye on the sheep and look out for any sheep in difficulties. They obviously had faith that 2 ageing vets would manage fine - and we did !!

Fortunately the threatened severe weather didn’t happen and we were blesssed with sunshine as we walked the fields. I have to say one of my most enjoyable days for some time. One of the extras shows some young lambs also enjoying the sun.

We are only on Mull for 3 nights and unfortunately the weather looks as if it won’t be so kind tomorrow- our planned trip to Iona may not happen.
