At my Mum and Dads

We had a good nights sleep in the Premier Inn in Bobbing, Kent.
A breakfast from McDonalds to start before going to my Mum and Dads to spend the day. Only a quick visit really as we had to leave at 3 to get back to the airport.
A lovely sunny day so spent so of it in my mum’s beautiful garden.It was buzzing with lots of insects including bee flies , ladybirds and butterflies.
It always goes to quickly but it was so nice to see them and have a chat face to face rather than on the phone.My brother came up after lunch and here is a photo of us just before we left .
A good run to the airport, surprise, surprise the motorways were clear , so arrived in plenty of time to eat before our flight.
Flight delayed by half an hour and we landed in pouring rain.A bus to Inverness , picked up the car from the carpark and home at around 10.30pm.
We were kept entertained on the flight by a young couple behind us who were on a romantic trip to the Highlands.Neither had been to Scotland before and they were making us laugh with their comments like ‘ Oh we must be in Scotland , there’s just a few lights looking like candles , it’s sooo remote ‘ . I suppose it is when you compare it to London but I would not want to be anywhere else.
