Premonition II

We arrived at Brompton Barracks, Chatham, at 0230 giving Joshua just about four hours sleep before an intensive day.
I gave him a bit of hug and a ‘manly’ handshake before climbing back into my trusty Polo and heading back the way I’d come.
I’m not sure if the clocks going on meant the effects were lessened but I felt remarkably ‘untired’.
I did try to catch a couple of hours sleep but once the car had cooled it quickly became too cold to sleep so I pressed on, stopping every ninety minutes for coffee.
I arrived home at 0800, patted the dogs head and went to bed. Up at 2:00pm, coffee and a sandwich before prepping my suit etc ready for round two tomorrow.
The evening was enlivened by reading the local radio stations triumphal Facebook post regarding Flybe’s ‘great new’ Newquay to London Service
