When I agreed to look through the papers at Radio Shropshire today, I hadn’t realised that I’d picked the start of British Summer Time. Cue a 6.20am alarm call, which was really a 5.20 alarm call and then on the bike for 6.45. I’m a morning person but even that was a bit much for me.

A lovely Mother’s Day service at church today followed by a visit to Groove Cottage to see my superstar Mother.

A day of being grateful for the mums around us and thinking of those who can no longer celebrate with theirs.
