Up early to drive G to the station, because she had to return to Lincoln for the day.

Carol concert for parents in the playground today, with warm sausage rolls and mince pies on hand. That was good. They do it all again tomorrow for grandparents (that would be difficult for Emma - she's only got one left, and she's in France).

Phone call from G on her way back from Lincoln. All the overhead cables are down on the Kings Cross line, so she's having to divert via Norwich, taking six trains to do it, making her hours late and missing the get together she was meant to be at. Oh well, these travellers have to take the rough with the smooth.

Think she's still looking for the smooth bit. :)
