Ramsholt

Not all walking guides are as good as www.superlative-walks.com. The book we used to inform our walk around Ramsholt, on the estuary of the River Deben, was hopelessly inaccurate.  Good use was made of OS maps on my phone. We did find our way to Pettistree Hall and the very posh hotel, Woodhall Manor. Ramsholt Church was built in the 11th century and refurbished in the 19th, with a delightfully plain interior.
