Sally Mair - Loving life

Pheasants Eye

I think these are one of my favourite varieties, the clarity of colour, the scent and the delicacy is just right. These are on the terraced area of our front garden and catch my eye whenever I go up or down the driveway.
Had a lovely evening yesterday with my niece and great niece I'm so lucky to have such a loving family and so near by.
I got back to Edinburgh just as our church service was finishing so popped in to say hallo.
Back home a little later, I made a pot of yummy, creamy, carrot soup - no cream, just liquidised and just in time for lunch.
I walked to Stockbridge this afternoon to pick up E and take her to Rainbows then back home again. Having forgotten my step counter yesterday, I was pleased to do my steps today so that's this week's target met and 79.9 miles done for my March Race at Your Pace challenge.
Early night today as I'm working tomorrow morning. Think I can just about fit it in!
14195 steps, 5/7 target met.
