Magnolia

Such beautiful blousy flowers.  
This magnolia stellata in front of Pollok House is a beautiful white but the petals are very delicate and very quickly the edges begin to turn brown .... I had to search hard to find a flower that was blemish free.

Lots of work being carried out on the stonework on the steps and walls surrounding the house. I hadn't noticed that the walls needed repairing but the steps needed some serious attention. Just wish they could find the money to repair the courtyard and the stables .... I really miss the Clydesdale horses.
