Tonight's the Night

Just in from our final rehearsal before the Choral Society concert tonight ... not a lot of time before I need to go back out so while my tea is cooking I have a few minutes for blip.

The rehearsal wasn't without incident ..... one of the violinists got locked in the toilet, the clarinetist didn't turn up and the bridge broke on the double bass ..... fortunately we perform in The Fotheringay Centre which belongs to a school and there just happened to be a double bass behind one of the screens.

I arrived just as the harpist was struggling to get her harp out of the taxi .... not the easiest musical instrument to transport.

No idea when I will get home .... shattered probably so I'll catch up with you all tomorrow :-))
