Playing about with colour in the camera; I'd highlighted yellow, for daffodil pictures, but it works with the bantam too :))

This bantam has made a big bathing hole under the leylandii (I'm sure I've spelled that incorrectly!) tree that the hens roost in. This is one of the taller trees in the garden, & I don't think it's good for the tree's health or safety...but I have learned that hens are as stubborn as cats - we might need to try to put something in the ground there to encourage her to dig elsewhere.

Meantime, she looks pretty pleased with herself on a sunny, but very windy, day
