I don't think this nest has ever been used for eggs - it's about half a meter above ground, so not really cat proof, but it's well-hidden when leaves are out.

A couple of days ago I watched a sparrow doing something odd in here - it looked like he was scratching himself by rubbing his body against the sides as part of his grooming. I've not seen him in there since.

It's turned a bit wild here tonight - very loud rain on the bedroom window. Looking forward to a weekend spent mainly beside the fire.
