Newroz Day 2

A great day in the sun at the bottom of the mountains with 2 families from karate plus their extended families. The day involved breakfast, setting up camp, football, volleyball, games, donkey rides, cooking, lunch, lots of tea and chatting, singing and dancing around the fire.

The day was clouded by news coming out of Mosul, nearly 100 dead. The ferry was loaded 5 times over its capacity. The government has announced 3 days of mourning including an end to newroz celebrations, so no picnic tmw with our neighbours. I'm not sure if I'd have been going anyway, it wasf quite uncomfortable today with my back /arm issues.
