Newroz

Today was the first of three days of picnics. The sun was shining, the place was beautiful and the company was fun. A TV journalist who knows J phoned to ask if he could film us on a picnic. They were with us for hours and I ended up getting interviewed for ages! Not my favourite thing at all.

Our hearts are broken by the news of over 70 drowned when a ferry capsized in Mosul. People from Mosul have seen so much tragedy, and now another thing? And I find it unbelievable that it doesn't get on the front page of the BBC website.
