Poppy Surprise

Some years ago a friend posted a macro photo of a poppy seeds.  These tiny black seeds hold a a surprise ... a honeycomb textured seed-casing.  So today I took some time out of the housework to post my own attempt using seeds collected from my garden, interspersed with some green pepper seeds.

In honour of Ingeborg's abstract challenge, I have (in her word's) "faffed" with the image to give this abstract from a larger image a more abstract feel, and in the process seem to me to have found another hidden surprise - some of the poppy seeds are starting to ressemble strawberries!
