Seashell

I bought back a collection of shells left on the tide-line from my trip to the coast on Saturday.  Looking at the ID charts, most of them are whelks.

This subject has been rather battered and eroded by the tide, but if you look closely it looks like this has allowed another tiny sea creature to start to make its home inside.
