Wetlands

Headed south to Cumbria today for a week’s break near Grange-over-Sands! Leaving our son in charge.

It was a beautiful Spring day with warmth in the sunshine. As we headed towards Biggar we saw the impact of recent snow and rain as in the blip But overall the fields were fresh green and showing lots of growth.

Unfortunately the further south we travelled, the more the clouds and the temperature dropped. Down from 16oC to 8oC. Fog on the M6. Fortunately brightened and warmed up a bit as we arrived.

Unpacked, walked the dog, had dinner then watched Bohemian Rhapsody: great film and acting. Just wished we could have played it a bit louder!

Tonight the rain is back.
