Looking up

The streets of Istanbul are festooned with bunting, posters and enormous advertisements as the political climate heats up with the sun for the local elections on 31st March. 

I was in Osmanbey for a second round with the chiropractor.  Ten minutes and several rather alarmingly loud cracks later, I left walking tall and feeling good.  I strolled home from the metro station in the warm early evening sunshine, annoyed to realise that I lost my metro travel card at the weekend, with both a healthy credit balance and personal information available to whoever found it......
