living in a glass house

Movin' on up.

Guess who can get up the stairs now!! Uh oh!

This morning the elves put the stockings up and hid inside. It wasn't quite as exciting as yesterday's bowl of snow all the way from the North Pole (which Cleo then played with for aaaages) but it was still pretty good.

I haven't done an Ash update in a while. He really seems to be understanding a lot lately and yesterday for the first time he put the claps in (the right place, even) when we sang "Wibble Wobble (which was also Cleo's favourite song as a baby). He is creeping along furniture now quite quickly and loves to be up where the action is. He has 4 teeth (plus one teeny one that's just poked through) and loves nothing more than to crawl happily up to me and chomp on my leg, shoulder, arm- anywhere, really. Ouch. He is so animated- he smiles with his whole face, even wrinkling his nose and always gives good, hearty laughs when tickled.

I can't stop thinking of the tragic events yesterday. I have read the heroic accounts of some of the teachers and it is just all so heartbreaking. I hope they are remembered forever for the amazing people they are, they saved so many lives. My heart continually breaks for the ones that were not saved.
